“Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee. For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising.”—Isaiah 60:1-3.

More than 2,000 years ago, Isaiah was given a vision of a future in which a light would shine from Jerusalem that will draw the Gentiles—the nations of the world—together. With all my heart, I believe that the Friends of Zion Heritage Center is the fulfillment of that prophecy. This is the headquarters from which God’s people will be brought together to fight the spirit wars of the End Times. This is God’s calling…and it involves all of us, the Jerusalem Prayer Team together, unified as one, working in tandem together with the Lord’s blessing over us.

This is the plan to defend and save the nation of Israel. This is God’s divine mandate. Israel cannot survive without the help and support of Christians. The Friends of Zion Heritage Center will be the address for the worldwide defense of Israel. We will walk with the Jewish people just as Jonathan walked with David. We will stand beside them just as Aaron and Hur stood beside Moses and held up his arms so that he could continue to pray—and win the spirit battle so that the physical battle Joshua was fighting in the valley below could then be won.

Nothing of value for God is done alone—we must do it together.

The Jerusalem Prayer Team with Dr. Michael D. Evans exists to build Friends of Zion to guard defend and protect the Jewish people and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem. We pray for peace in Jerusalem because the Scriptures tell us to in Psalm 122:6. The Jerusalem Prayer Team was inspired from the 100-year long prayer meeting for the restoration of Israel held in the ten Boom family home in Haarlem, Holland. We are committed to encouraging others to pray for the peace of Jerusalem and God's Chosen People.
